Black Bear Lodge, Waterville Valley

I had a fantastic stay at Black Bear Lodge! The accommodations were spacious and allowed my family to truly enjoy our time together. The staff was incredibly attentive and made us feel welcome. However, the pool area seemed smaller than expected, and I noticed the need for some upgrades in certain areas. Overall, a great place for families looking to create lasting memories.

This lodge offers spacious layouts perfect for families, and I loved having a full kitchen available. However, the accommodations are in need of updates and some areas could have been cleaner. The overall atmosphere is cozy and inviting, but I wish the facilities like the pool were better maintained. It's a decent choice, especially for larger groups, but don't expect luxury.

My stay at the lodge was quite an experience filled with mixed feelings. The staff truly went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, offering exceptional service throughout our hockey tournament stay. However, the condition of the room left much to be desired, as it was outdated and not very clean. While I appreciated the kitchenette and spacious layout, I can't ignore the disappointments in maintenance.
